Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ cocoa powder, lightly packed
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 can (12-14 oz) 2% evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
  1. melt butter in a medium pot. stir in cocoa and sugar.
  2. add evaporated milk in a slow, steady stream while stirring.
  3. boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. take off stove and add vanilla. cool.
  5. store in refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. reheat in the microwave, if desired.
