- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cocoa powder, lightly packed
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 can (12-14 oz) 2% evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- melt butter in a medium pot. stir in cocoa and sugar.
- add evaporated milk in a slow, steady stream while stirring.
- boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- take off stove and add vanilla. cool.
- store in refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. reheat in the microwave, if desired.
