lds world temples word searches

if there is one thing i love to do it’s to find ways to keep my kids happily occupied while we are in the car, at church,  during general conference, or even to use as an activity for family home evening, etc. but i want more than an ipad or a phone to keep them busy – i want something that meets these few requirements ::

1. it has to be something that they can do themselves. i have lots of kids, so i need these little people of mine to do things that don’t require my help, otherwise i’d have all of them asking me a billion questions all at the same time – more than they already do!
2. it needs to be something the like doing. if they don’t like doing it…they won’t. it should be something that is entertaining and fun enough to keep their attention for more than 5.357892 seconds.
3. it needs to be quiet. because i really just want some quiet!!
4. it should be educational. i love activities that make their little minds work. they love to absorb knowledge and facts and information, so if they can use this time to be engaged in something that gives them all of these things i am 100% for it. plus, it gives us opportunities for conversation after they’re done their activity (or after church, the general conference session, etc), to talk about the words, concepts, or ideas they came across while doing their activity.

some of my kids are at an age now where they looooove to do word searches. i love to do word searches too. so if you’re like me and are looking for activities for your kids, look no further! i’ve made a bunch of these word searches so i can pull them out when i need something to keep them (or me) happily occupied and that meets those requirements listed above.
