Summer Activities For Kids - Free Calendars

it is summertime again! for anyone whose kids have finished school and are looking foward to the summer months ahead with kids at home, you know that it can be a bit challenging to keep kids happily occupied for those long summer days.

last year i made a file-folder version of these calendars which included:

1) the calendars themselves with an activity, joke, question, etc for each day of summer.

2) a summer bucket list where they could write down everything they wanted to do during the summer months. (i bought some mini-stickers that they could use every time they accomplished something off their bucket list or read a book.)

3) a reading log where they could keep a record of all the books they’ve read.

it was such a huge hit with my kids (and with a lot of my reader’s kids) that i’ve updated the calendars for summer 2015! some of the activities are the same, some are similar to last year’s calendars, and some are totally new. but they are all fun and we will have a blast with them this year, i’m sure!
